“I would have given rooms 5 stars but there seemed to be a malfunction with the heating unit. It ran continuously even when I had it on heat setting and 68 degrees. I actually got up in the night and shut it down as the room was too hot for my sleeping comfort. Otherwise it is a very nice, clean place to stay in Monticello.”

“We found the Cobblestone while following a Google maps alternate route on a cross country road trip. Located right off Hwy 151, this was just what we needed after a 12 hour day on the road. We walked in with no reservations, and were told that the only room available was the whirlpool jacuzzi suite. Almost got back in the car to look elsewhere, but decided to give it a go. The room was very spacious, with an adjacent living room area (couch, tv, fridge, microwave, and desk). The King size bed was very comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was perfect for stiff bodies after a long day of driving. The shower was nice and hot, with fantastic water pressure! Breakfast was hot and ready at 6am. Plenty of options and a good variety. If you stay here, be sure to check out the Blind Pig pub in town... about a 5 minute drive.”

“The people at this hotel were so friendly and welcoming! I arrived very late on a Monday night after being turned away at three other locations because I had my therapy dog with me. I was frustrated, exhausted from driving until late and emotionally stressed. The lady at 5he desk Torrie, was so sweet and helpful and it was such an intense relief! The other girls I met who worked at the front desk were equally kind and super helpful and gave me recommendations on things to do and places to eat while in the area. The nicest thing was when I called the front desk to see if they had an extra charging block for my phone, cause I had forgotten to bring my from home, two of the girls lent me their personal ones! It has been so long since I had been to a hotel, I figured maybe that had them for loan like a hair dryer. But never expected that anyone would loan out their personal property! I thought that was going above and beyond! The hotel was very nice, extremely clean and quiet and the beds were So comfy! I will make a point of coming back here next time I need a break from reality, because of the thoughtful service, clean rooms, luscious beds and the Peaceful vibe! Thank you Ladies!”
